Booking and cancellation policies
The general conditions of sale and the special conditions governing the booking policy and cancellation policy, constitute a set which is an integral part of the sales contract and whose global acceptance is mandatory before the conclusion of any sale. The booking request implies the adherence to these conditions and the total and unreserved acceptance of their provisions. The contract is binding for the person making the reservation and for all other persons mentioned in the same, including minors.
Preamble
Borgo Sant'Ambrogio - Resort offers its guests a direct website www.borgosantambrogio.com through which make a reservation that can also be made by phone at n. +39 (0577) 665250 or +39 (391) 7501524, or by e-mail at: [email protected].
The reserved stays are in room and breakfast or half board.
Reservations are made online in real time. As a general rule, confirmation arrives within 24 hours.
1 -General Conditions of Sale (CGV)
1-1 - Application
These GCS apply to sales transactions concluded through the back office of Borgo Sant'Ambrogio Resort and the customer.
1-2 - Capacity
Each customer acknowledges that they can enter into contracts, that is, to be of age and not to be subject to curation or guardianship.
1-3 - Price
Prices are shown in euros.
VAT is always included. The prices shown include only the services strictly mentioned in the booking.
Additional services provided by Borgo Sant’Ambrogio during the stay and the city tax will be added to the price indicated in the booking at the time of check out.
The applicable prices are those in force on the date of booking.
In addition, the tariff displayed by visiting the website www.borgosantambrogio.com is only valid for bookings made during the viewing period of the latter. Only the price indicated in the booking confirmation is considered contractual.
1-4 - Method of payment
The payment of the reservation will be made according to the tariff conditions communicated during the booking, according to the conditions provided by the ‘standard rate’, ‘non-refundable’ or ‘facilitated cancellation’. Your bank details (credit card) entered at the time of booking, will be used for payment, in the case of the ‘non-refundable’ rate, or as a guarantee in case of cancellation and no-show, for ‘standard’ rates or ‘facilitated cancellation’.
The payment of all services is made directly with the reception at check out.
Borgo Sant'Ambrogio - Resort reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card before the arrival of the customer by requesting a pre-authorization to the circuit of belonging. With the pre-authorization the Borgo Sant’Ambrogio – Resort guarantees the temporary availability of the total amount of the stay, or part of it, to ensure that the credit card is valid. NO AMOUNT IS COLLECTED. The pre-authorisation expires automatically after 20 days from the requested date and the amount is released. In case of pre-authorisation with negative result the customer will be warned, and the reservation will be cancelled. In this case Borgo Sant’Ambrogio – Resort will have no obligation to the customer.
1-4 - Force majeure
Force majeure means any event unrelated to the parties that presents at the same time unpredictable and insurmountable that prevents the customer, or Borgo Sant'Ambrogio Resort to insure all or part of the obligations under the contract.
This applies in particular in case of strike, insurrection, riot, bans issued by government or public authorities.
It is expressly agreed that the case of force majeure suspends, for the parties, the performance of their mutual obligations and that each party bears the costs arising therefrom.
Customers will have to pay the additional costs that may be required to continue the journey, following the occurrence of force majeure.
The management declines any responsibility for faults due to lack of supplies, accidental failure of equipment or other causes of force majeure. We are not responsible for damages caused by other guests, weather events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases and theft.
1-5 - Liability
In case of events affecting the person or property of the customer (theft, fire, etc.) during a stay, Borgo Sant'Ambrogio cannot be held responsible.
1-6 - Personal data
When you use our website www.borgosantambrogio.com we are committed to ensuring the confidentiality of the information you transmit to us and to protecting your privacy. This information is necessary for the smooth operation and follow-up of bookings. When you make a reservation, we need to know your first name, last name, email and mobile phone number to follow up your requests. This data allows us to process these bookings according to your needs and to inform you about the status of your bookings.
The data is collected with the consent of the customer to allow us to keep him informed about news, offers and promotions developed by our services. They will be kept for up to 3 years after the last response to our requests. The legal basis for this processing is the consent of the customer who can withdraw his consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out before such withdrawal.
2 - Special conditions
In the absence of specific booking and cancellation conditions for some facilities (communicated to the customer at the time of booking), the following special conditions apply.
2-1 - Booking conditions
The price of the room is calculated based on 2 people. The supplement of half board (dinner) is per day and per person based on 2 people per room and will be automatically applied for the entire duration of the stay.
Some services may be subject to supplements such as additional guest, where possible, or pets.
To guarantee the reservation, the customer is asked to communicate his credit card number, the transmission of which takes place in a protected way. The reservation is fixed and final only upon receipt of the confirmation sent to the customer by the Reception of Borgo Sant'Ambrogio.
The total payment of the stay must be made directly with the reception. In the case of a non-refundable rate, full prepayment will be required.
The customer is required to expect arrival at Borgo Sant’Ambrogio – Resort after 15:00 and before 19.30 and to notify the reception in case of delay.
The Management reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to issue any booking at any time without charge, penalty, loss or damage if it considers that the guest is not able to stay in structure. Ineligible can mean to be drunk, disorderly, offensive, aggressive or rude or cause a danger to other guests, employees and suppliers of Borgo Sant'Ambrogio Resort.
2-2 - Change of reservation
Any request to change a booking must be made by phone at no. +39 (0577) 665250 or +39 (391) 7501524, or by email at: [email protected] from 08:30 - 19:30 Monday to Sunday.
The change of the reservation is fixed and final only upon receipt of confirmation from the Reception of Borgo Sant'Ambrogio Resort.
Requests for amendments may involve the application of cancellation conditions. In case of force majeure or due to exceptional circumstances, Borgo Sant'Ambrogio Resort reserves the right to accommodate guests in a nearby property of equivalent category, without any change in prices.
The extension of the stay requires an additional reservation and is subject to availability and rate changes.
2-3 - Cancellation conditions
Mention "Free Booking and Cancellation": the cancellation of the reservation is free of charge up to a maximum of 7 days before the arrival date for the 'standard' rate and a maximum of 5 days before the arrival date for the 'facilitated cancellation' rate. However, specific booking and cancellation conditions communicated to the customer at the time of booking can be applied.
The cancellation of the reservation is effective upon receipt of an e-mail from Borgo Sant'Ambrogio Resort confirming the same.
Otherwise, the customer can contact the Reception directly at no. +39 (0577) 665250 or +39 (391) 7501524, or by e-mail at: [email protected] from 08:30 - 19:30 from Monday to Sunday.
The date of receipt of the cancellation request (by e-mail, post, telephone, fax) will be the date considered for cancellation.
In case of no show and in the absence of cancellation, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
3-1. Booking, Payment and Cancellation Policy GROUPS (for booking exceeding 3 rooms)
By making a reservation for a group of people, the person who completes the process is identified as the contact person of the group and confirms that he is authorized by the other participants to adhere to the Booking Conditions and the Cancellation Policy of Borgo Sant'Ambrogio - Resort. The contact person of the group is responsible for the total billing for all bookings confirmed by him. A deposit of 25% of the total, is required as confirmation of the booking and the balance of 75%, 15 days before arrival.
3- 2. Rooming list:
The group contact person is responsible for sending the final guest list as soon as possible and in any case no less than 15 days before arrival.
Cancellations must be made in writing (by e-mail).
Cancellations will be subject to penalties as follows:
- - up to 30 days prior to arrival the deposit will be retained;
- from 29 to 15 days prior to arrival the deposit will be retained and a further penalty of 30% of the entire stay will be applied.
- from 15 days to 7 days before the arrival date the deposit will be retained and a further penalty of 50% of the entire stay will be applied.
- from 7 to 0 days before arrival date will be charged a penalty of 100% of the entire stay booked.
In case of "no show" or early departure will be charged a penalty of 100% of the entire stay.
Early departures will be charged for the entire stay booked.
Booking confirmation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms.
